Hello my followers, today I’m going to tell you about my favorite holidays.

My favorite holidays are in the new year eve, celebrated on the night of January 1st but also in the afternoon of the 31st.

I celebrate it with my family and we travel to my grandmother's house who lives in Viña del Mar. This celebration lasts one day.

In my family we usually eat a lot of food and a spoonful of lentils for luck.We cook food that we don't eat during the year like duchess potatoes, stuffed chicken and mushrooms. 

I like it very much because I have a great time with my family and it means the beginning of an era in my life.In other countries the New Year is a very important celebration within their cultures. An example would be the Chinese New Year.

In this country people completely clean the house and display traditional decorations. They also remember and pray for their dead relatives .People usually go to festivals and watch shows with their families. People set off fireworks as it is a very common thing there.
